RE: How many of us are waiting for the SOLD sign?

Sitting in Las Vegas townhouse, 4 showings in July, just lookers, plenty of forclosures in town, not to mention new homes. No hurry, when it's meant to happen, it will.

I've been trying to get the 2007 dinghy guide to download all morning, but it won't. I am trying to find which cars with auto transmission will flat tow in the 3000 lb range? (2007) any help?

RE: Would you pay off mtr hme with savings?

I would agree with smkettner, don't rush into anything on the payoff. Do as he says, add to the principal each month. Try renting the house and put it in the bank. I have my house rented too, it helps a lot, why let it sit empty as you travel? If you have any desire to sell your house, then go with a lease-option. Ask a realtor for help if you are not familiar with the rental business.

RE: What is the one best feature in your MH? and the worst.

What I like and will always want is a very comfortable sofa, and one that is long enough to stretch out on. I have that now, but many motorhomes even the big ones do not. The oven is something I don't need. I also will never want levelers, I've never had them and think they are just extra weight. Also I don't need Satellite TV, local channels are fine, otherwise I get news on my comp. I don't need slide outs either.

Safety check....spare tire falling off

If anyone is carrying a spare tire on the rear end of your rig, please check that it's secure. A friend who is on a long trip just called me to say his spare tire was hanging by a thread, he just so happened to walk around the rear when he stopped and saw this catastrophe about to happen. It had been bolted on with 8 lug nuts into plywood, and had a nice cover on the tire, but would have caused an accident if it had fallen off in traffic. His rig is a 22' Trail Lite motorhome.

Safety check...Spare Tire on back of Trail Lite

I just got a phone call from a friend of mine who is driving a Trail Lite 22' Class C or B with has the spare mounted on the back end. When he stopped to visit a friend on this 4000 mile trip, he walked around the vehicle to show it off, and noticed the spare tire hanging by a thread. It seems it is held on by abt 8 lug nuts or similar, and they simply were coming out. They had been bolted into plywood, can you imagine? All we can say is 'thank goodness it was noticed before it fell off while driving, and hit the windshield of the driver behind or caused an accident. So if you have a tire on the back, please go and check it!

RE: Appliances

Only 2 appliances go with me, a coffee pot, and a blender. I use the blender to make smoothies which are a staple of my diet. Just buy the fruits you want and add half water, maybe some no-fat yogurt, wheat germ, or chocolate soy protein powder, great drink!

RE: Diastolic Dysfunction, what treatment are you getting?

Serena, what is 02 toxicity? The way that I found out I had this condition (DD) is that I asked for diet pills, and was told 'ok, but an EKG is required first, well, that was abnormal, so next was the Echo, which showed the DD with high EF (70). Oh, no problem, just take Metoprolol to lower blood pressure and that will take care of the DD. I must say I don't feel any better, it has been a year, so I am going to make appt with Cardiologist. The other Dr was an Internist. Btw, I also showed my Echo results to a Dr. at the Vein Clinic and she said too that lowering blood pressure with Metoprolol was the correct treatment. I am tired a lot, can't do too much, I am just not my old self. Also weigh 20 lbs too much due to low sugar eating. Don't know if that is connected to this.

Diastolic Dysfunction, what treatment are you getting?

I finally have a name for my Echo results. I'm wondering what treatment others are getting for this diagnosis. So far I'm on metoprolol, but about to go to another Dr.

RE: Navigation systems

Here's my opinion, they can be a big distraction to the driver. Some are on the phone, some are smoking, some are eating, changing the radio station, some are opening their water bottle or soda can, and some are pushing the buttons and reading the screen on their TomTom. What else can we do while driving? (not to mention that a navigator quite often leads you down the wrong street) But, I bet your husband will be thrilled to get one!

RE: Class C Rv mileage

Get the V-10, and you can expect 10 mpg if you don't drive more than 55 mph. At least that's what we found with ours.

RE: Residential RVs

You might want to look at KZ products. They have a reputation for taking care of customers. We saw some the other day at local dealer, and were impressed.

RE: Staying Connected

Always carry my comp, and have a t-mobile air card, that's been my method for the past almost 5 yrs. Works great almost everywhere I've been, except Parker AZ, and a few other out of the way places. But then I move on a little and it again works great. I've found that campground wi fi's are either very slow or not secure. My air card works better.

Filling Prescriptions on the road

I'm new to taking regular prescriptions, so I haven't yet gotten into the mail order routine. I just transfer them to my new location each time I want a refill. I was using Walmart for a time, but I've had it with them. Long lines at their pharmacy counter, and many times transfering seems to throw them for a loop. This time I tried Walgreen's and it was a done deal with 3 min. on the phone, then a drive up window for 2 min. and I was out of there. Now that's good service.

Tv reception on Laptop

Anyone know how to get tv channels on your laptop while you are using your comp? I used to have a friend that had a tv show going on in a corner window while he was doing his regular comp stuff. I can't remember how he did that/

RE: Born Free or Lazy Daze

Thanks Joanne, I should have said that I currently have a 26MB Lazy Daze which is up for sale. The reason is that I want a diffent model, the LD 23 rear twin, or else the Born Free 24. Just need a new adventure. Thanks also to current BF owners, I know I like BF a lot. I've seen the LD 23 and loved it, also I've seen the BF and love it. Can I have both? No, I guess I can only have one at a time, darn!
